StatDroid Team

Basically, StatDroid is a one man operation with vast amounts of support from friends, family, and the general public. I use the term "about us" because there is a lot of feedback and reflection from those around me. Not only those whom I interact with directly, but all the other developers who post tutorials and code on their sites, and all of the individuals who have taught me things along the way.

With that said, the team is broken up in to three parts. The first part is the planning team. This consists of many friends, family, and the general population. By simple observation this team has gathered and continues to gather knowledge about what a useful application is and/or could be. Since everyone is an expert at having a perspective, this phase tends to be conversations that start with "It would be cool if...". The goal in this phase is to gather as many good ideas as possible, keep the practical ones, and then begin creating a context to associate the ideas.

The second part of the team is design and development. This is mostly done by one person. The main benefit of this is that there is a unified vision, so things get done fairly quickly without all the back and forth and/or transitional phases.

The third part is the quality assurance team. This team is similar to the first team, in that it is made up of many people. Anyone who interacts with the application, this site, or even the concepts that surround a stat driven application. This is probably the most important part of the process, because it stimulates the progress and evolution of the application.
